Definitions

Monovert Two extraverts or two introverts. Mutual respect, level "playing field," fair game or competition.
The relationship is lopsided and it revolves around external business (two extraverts) or it revolves on the relationship itself (two introverts).
Hetrovert One extravert and one introvert. More varied relationships where partners try to change each other and the relationship in a variety of ways.
Energy Based Conscious functions of one partner affect subconscious functions of the other (i.e. two static or two dynamic). More subconscious impact than exchange of conscious information. Termed "relations of attraction."
Information Based Conscious functions of one partner affect conscious functions of the other (i.e. one static and one dynamic). More exchange of conscious information than subconscious impact. Termed "relations of repulsion."
Symmetrical Partners affect each other equally. Same or similar subjective experiences in relationship.
Asymmetrical Partners affect each other unequally. Different subjective experiences in relationship. One partner gets "short end of stick" and is affected more strongly by other partner than vice versa.
Large Psychological
Distance
One rational and one irrational type. Partners have different rhythms, different moods, and different reactions in same situation. Occasional moments of resonance when rhythms and moods coincide.
Small Psychological
Distance
Two rational or two irrational types. Partners can lock into same rhythm (at least for a time), allowing for smaller psychological distance.
